The CD32's logo screen is cool too!

Does it have a menu for manipulating game saves?

Was there an actual Commodore CD32 keyboard or have people just been
using CDTV/spraint painted A4000 keyboards...

:-D

@leirbag28

What's the box between the keyboard port and the cable?

I've seen one CD32 using a remote control, is that what it is?

What do you know about the SX32's RAM limit, for the Pro model it says
64Mb but I see some people selling 128Mb on theirs occasionaly!?

Is there still no way to use FMV + SX32 at the same time?

So what does the SX32's hard disk run on if the scsi.device (A1200's
IDE port) is useless?

I've read that the SX32 uses the CD-ROM drive's access light to show
it's doing something as well. Strange!

If there is an unused pcmcia.device lurking on the CD32's ROM then
wouldn't it be within grasp to retrofit a PCMCIA port to the CD32?

That'd allow you to network via ethernet!

:-o

@leirbag28

What did a Canadian bank use the infra-red thing for? Does it have IR
and modem BOTH in that small box on the keyboard port?

Also, has SCSI been considered for CD32 (allowing the use of a burner,
scanner etc.) because the DataFlyer SCSI is in fact an IDE ribbon with
SCSI conversion.

Just like those IDE-SCSI hard disk adaptors floating around.

:-)

I know a lot of Atari Jaguar owners programmed ROMs for it after Atari
went bankrupt but the potential for the CD32 is far greater.
Particularly since people are only now trying stuff out with
Dreamcast/GameCube/X-Box such as Linux etc.

That's crazy!

Online banking on a CD32!

:-D :-D

So do you have any more history on it? How would you access this on a
2mb 14Mhz machine, was it some sort of Telnet?

Hell, I bet the Sega-CD didn't have this back in 1993!

;-)

Where did you get it?

I know Eyetech sell some sort of hack for allowing the A1200 to be
controlled via infra-red but this CD32 one is very interesting.

How does it interact with Scala?

:-o
