Hi,
have been using Viper1260 on my 3.9 A1200 since august 2003.
Good board, for the price.
Definitely buy it with its 64MB simm as it is not easy to find working simms for Viper, EDO won't work, only FPM.
It is stable, I did the A1200 underboard modification, desoldering 2 resistors, just in case, because I didn't notice any change.
Recently I overclocked it to 66MHz, changing quartz-adding socket.
SysSpeed says there has been an average 10% increase in speed on all tests but intuition, which decreased.
After overclock I have some problem in my net with PC, before everything was smooth, now it is slow and stucking.
I underclocked it again to its 56MHz.Net stuckiness remains.
Anyway I agree, Blizzards are better.
On Viper you can't use Blizkick, which is very useful.
Ciao
