I remember reading somewhere, can't remember where, that write-protection simply doesnt protect at all.
It's just a softwareswitch saying that you can't write to the disk.
But a virii, or nonvirii, programmer can go around it and yet write on a writeprotected disk..
due to the switch not changing anything in the hardware..
