Microbotics Mouse Time
« on: July 04, 2014, 08:18:04 PM »
I have one of these beasts, that I thought was broken. I just read that it does NOT take over the system clock, but must be read via a CLI command.
OK, so what's the command? I have plugged into the second A1000 joystick port (mouse port) and haven't done anything to make it transparent.
Any one remember this thing?

It plugs into t he second joystick port, yup. It's supposed to work with up 1.3 (at least I've been told). It's an odd beast, because it doesn't use the system clock. This why I want to find the CLI commands to read the thing.
The only neat thing about this device is that it has a pass through, so the port can still be used......

Its not like I need another clock for my A1000, so I might just put this little jewel on ebay and be done with it.....

It needs its own software to set the time. I have the original disk (got it with some other MicroBotics gear) but I am away for some days and can't get you an image of it right now. But this sounds promising: http://www.amiga.org/forums/blog.php?b=272

Just dled the file. Looks fine. I'll set up the A1000 tonight and see where I stand. Many thanks!
