I'm thinking my best bet is to contact the ebay seller I got it from and work out a refund.
Oh well, back to the drawing board.
If you have tried this card without other memory (just the card is full) and it still doesn't work, there's a very good chance something is wrong with the card. I don't know if the 8Mb RAM expansion you are trying to use will work with it, but some others will.
Are you sure the RAM you have for the card is GVP? I have SIMMs that LOOK just like the GVP, but they aren't - and will not work - do a great job of jamming things up though!
