I HATE earphones, earbuds (who came up with that one anyway?)
Give me large high power speakers with huge sub woofers! Rattle the windows, and anything else that will move. Music must be LOUD! Games should be LOUD!

Just isn't the same thing. I can usually get away with 4:00am music or games, too. I've got an in-law apartment that's away from the main house.
I do have pretty good ear phones - I just don't care for them.
