That was the last Final Writer - yep, it's been that long....

Okay, there's 9 disks in this set. Some have a copyright of '93 on 'em, but many say '96 and Release 5. It's a full set and I bet the originals were just replaced with these newer disks. In the box there is a large Final Writer manual and then are two smaller ones that say "Release 5 Addendum" and "Final Writer '97 Addendum".

Also found a complete set of Final Copy II disks.

release 5 was the one just before '97. If you have an upgraded set - only disks 1 and 8 will say Final Writer 97 on them.
Release 5 is still an excellent program...

Actually, none of the disks say Final Writer 97 on 'em. Disks 1, 8 and 9 are the only ones that read: "Release 5". So, I guess this is *not* a 97 version? Funny how the 97 Addendum is in there though...

This is odd. FW 97 must have flown over this set at one time. I'll dig to see if I have any duplicates of disks 1 & 8....
