Who designed the adapter? Was it Jens or Amigagit?
Ether way I am sure it will be fixed. I agree with the observations that this must have been designed for an A1000 without a daughter board. I used to have one sans daughter board, but that was years ago, and I can't remember the differences.
One thing's sure - you have us all glued to our screens....
