FS: 2.5" hard drives for A1200

I have two Toshiba 30Gb drives, One Toshiba 80Gb, and one Hitachi 80Gb drives. All are recognized by HDToolbox in a friends A1200. All these drives were pulled from working windows type laptop machines.

One other weird item = a Cardinal 28.8 modem that works. Excellent condition, not yellowed! This one is NOT C= compatible - it's standard RS-232. Has PSU but no original box.

Or do you mean the C= 8-bits? They can take an RS232 device with a simple adapter.

They (and others) made modems that would plug directly into the C-64s and C-128s user port without the need of an RS-232 interface. This modem needs an RS-232 interface.
In other words - rather than the cable ending in a C= user port plug, it has a standard 25 pin plug.
Cardinal was big time into Commodore software and hardware way back when - They made the best disk drive alignment software there was for just one example...

(PS: they got delivered to my neighbours house , you had the address written correctly but our postman's usually half pissed in the mornings and tends to stick things through the wrong letterboxes... :lol:)

Glad they got to you OK. At our local Post Office the lady who took your package made a comment that Scotland was better (quicker) than England for delivery speed.
I might get another batch of pc and Amiga stuff this weekend. If there's anything interesting, I'll let you know.
