You are talking about Softwood's Final Data. There were up v3, and all use the cell idea (really more like a spreadsheet).
The only problem with this program, is that is not Y2K compliant. This makes it a bear to enter any dates past the year 2000.
For any other uses, it is still fine...

*EDIT*  Softwood's Pen Pal also included an early version of this data base.

Almost everything is in boxes (upcoming move). I'll see if I can find the program...
