You should have hollered if you needrd an expander. I still have two four port jobs (Aprotech) - I am still using an old Cardco 5 port job, that will not part with.
My 128D is still being patched up, so I am using a flat 128 with Jiffy DOS (one 1571 & one 1581 also J DOSed), and the video RAM upgrade.
I use dBase II in CP/M (using a 1Mb 1750 as a RAM disk), still my favorite even with the Amiga, and Windoze machines here.
My grandchildren use GEOS a lot, so end up helping them. That brings back memories..... Looks good through the HP 4 laser.

The 8 bits can still get a lot done.

A1000 Microbotics Starboard II w/2Mb 1080, & external floppy (AIRdrive)
C-128 w/1571, 1750, & Final Cartridge III+

I just noticed something odd concerning the AproTek 4 port expanders I have. They are different. One has a capacitor sticking up behind the fuse, and one doesn't. The one that does not have the Cap installed, has a shorter opening, so it was obviously designed without the capacitor. I can find nothing about this design change. Has any one else noticed this difference?
