YA 1200 question
« on: February 16, 2009, 05:53:52 PM »
I just got a 1200; it should be arriving soon. It will have OS 3.1 on the drive. I'd like to upgrade it to 3.5, but there's no SCSI for my CD drive.

If I picked up a CF-PCMCIA adapter and copied the appropriate files from the 3.5 CD, would I be able to run the 3.5 upgrade from a CF card? I suppose at worst, I'd have to reinstall any drivers needed for the adapter after the pre-installation. I have alternative methods to install the upgrade... this just seems the most direct way.

Thanks!
