Please Help - sketchy memory of a really old game
« on: May 09, 2004, 12:17:15 AM »
I have a really really vague memory of a game I used to play as a little kid. I will be so grateful/damn impressed if any of the following hazy details ring a bell. I'd love to refind it, download it and see if it is as much fun these days.

Right. It's proper crap graphics. It's a fantasy game. The layout is a maze viewed from above. You move a small flasing rectangle around the maze. Very old game.

I can't remember much more! Oh yes, vampires played a part and were pretty evil. And fortune cookies (I think) could be collected for with cool after-effects.

I thought that it was called Larn, but I've found out that's another game that I never understood, but I think that's its from the same time period as Larn.

If any of this rings a bell, please let me know. It's been bugging me for the last week.

No, it wasn't gauntlet. I just checked it out. Same top-down view, but I'm sure the hero was just a flashing dash moving around a maze, controlled with the arrows not the joystick. I wish I could remember more!
