It's probably worth using the WHDLoad installer instead, I believe it fixes some stuff, too.

Used the WHDLoad installer for AB3D1 last night (well, early morning :-D), works under UAE ok, though it locked up on exit.

Naturally you need the original disks for this to work!  I cheated, installed it to my A3000 (the installer doesn't know I'm missing AGA!), then copied it right over to the laptop using FTP.

If I get motivated I think I'll do this for all my favourites, put 'em onto CD, then the disks can be wrapped safely and stashed in the attic :-)

It's not that expensive.  I think it has an additional restriction that every once in a while you have to do a cold reset, too.

Not that I'd know 'cause I registered it :-D (I do have piles of games that can be installed with it)
