I used to use Miami since back in the dial-up days and kept on as I registered it but now I've switched to Roadshow. I prefer the non-GUI and always online. It also feels good to support an active developer.

Long time ago I was playing around with some network programming and I think the MiamiSDK was a bit more modern (or maybe actually the stack) and supported things like getaddrinfo() which AmiTCP didn't IIRC. The code would only run on Miami though.
