Bliazzard 1230 temperature

hey all I just posted about xtreme racing, I noticed my 68030 CPU gets extremely hot whilst playing, correct me if I'm wrong but it's the '030 meant to be very cool? Perhaps there is something wrong with my computer/accelerator?

I can leave it open but my card isn't fixed in, only by the slot, it there a way to keep the car in without having the trapdoor on?
