What is the the MONO hole in the back of A500 used for? For a Monochrome monitor? The machine is connected to the monitor RGB input hole through an RGB cable.

This A500 came with workbench 1.3 floppy and it reads like 888,000 free memory at booting time. Is this a 1 meg RAM machine? Do you think?
