Hey,

Sorry I didn't know how to phrase the topic question very well. I just bought a replacement mouse for my Linux machine, it's a cheap optical with scroll wheel. It came with a USB-to-PS/2 adapter (using the PS/2 port, as I'm out of USB ports...). Anyone use something like this with an Amiga using a Cocolino or similar adapter?

Yes, I do.
Optical Logitech USB mouse with scrollwheel, connected to the Amiga 4000 PPC via Cocolino via USB-to-PS/2 adaptor.

I know the scroll wheel wouldn't work, but how about basic left- and right-buttons ? Thanks much everyone  :-D

They should work. Get yourself a Cocolino and you can use the scrollwheel as well...
All the best,
