re-flashed NEC USB card (then over-priced),

Agreed - but there were no other USB 2.0 "highspeed" solutions availyble at the time - and the Spider2 was still significantly less expensive than Zorro-USB-cards at that time.

Ostensibly they're still waiting for the final A1-Os4-version to become available on CD in the stores...

And why do you dare to call it "crap", if it does the job for ya?

Just because YOU FEEL it stops you to use a Subway and just because YOU DON'T WANT "to spend USD83 (plus S&H and local taxes)" and ...

...just because YOU DON'T WANT "to beg Chris to sell you a license for Poseidon" you dare to call all Elbox products "crap" - really a nice move!

E3B products are far superior, and IC too.

Why don't you try to get an PCI-busboard from E3B then?
Persuade them to make one, if they don't have one in their portfolio!

What do you mean with "IC" - here in Germany it is understood as abbrevation either for "InterCity[Express]" or "Integrated Circuit" - which of them do you mean?

I sent a support request + some questions about SharkPPC and Dragon boards to Elbox on the 29th of July. I got a response on the 30th including answer regarding SharkPPC and Dragon.

Hello,

Running OS4 for Classic on any system, which does not contain the Amiga classic motherboard is afaik not covered by the license agreement between Hyperion and Amiga Inc.
...

Well, thing simply is that I don't have any "license agreement" - neither with AInc, nor with Hyperion.

I legally bought the OS and I'll run it on every hardware where it is able to run on.

Who is going to check on which hardware I'm going to run the OS on?

Even Microsoft didn't mind me running MS-DOS or later Win3.1 on Amiga hardware...

EDIT:

AInc. claim to be a "software company" - and as such they should be interested in getting "their" software running on as much hardware as possible...

Not my fault, if they don't really care...
