however the story behind the card is this: a guy bought this brand new from (Datakompaniet in norway) long ago it never worked for him only a black screen and has since been tried on 2 other a4ks giving the same!
...

You are aware that lots of CyberstormPPC's stopped working because of draggled wrap connexions and worked again flawlessly after cleaning the contacts, aren't you?

I experienced this twice during the last 9 years.
Each time I used the sprays from Kontakt Chemie (Kontakt60 and KontaktWL) to get the draggled wrap connexions on the CSPPC and the A4k MoBo cleaned.
The one spray is to etch the dirt and the other one is to wash it away.
Just give it enough time to dry afterwards before you power it up again!

Would be a shame if you send your card in for repair and wait for months, while there is nothing wrong with it except draggled wrap connexions - so I would try this option first...

Hi Dandy,

What does "draggled wrap connexions" mean? Cords inserted in wrong sockets? (sorry, I'm not a tech head)

Well, according leo.org "draggled" means "covered with dirt" and "wrap connexion" means "pluggable connection"...

If you know better suited words then please let me know!
