If only I had seen this posting earlier!
It would have saved me a lot of blood sweat and tears!
I have just succeeded in getting 3.9 on my UAE installation, I am really pleased with the results!
I have not checked the guide but I can tell you I would have found it useful. Although I probably still need to tweak the install a bit
