CDTV power question
« on: February 21, 2018, 10:49:58 PM »
If I purchase a CDTV from Europe (220v) how do I adjust it for US (120v) power? I’ve done searches but can’t find if there is a 110/220 switch on the CDTV.  Pictures only seem to show ‘AC’ input on the rear panel.

Does it have a switched-mode power supply that automatically adjusts for input voltage?

Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately, no picture (auction sites, old advertisements), manuals, or even hardware databases that I can find show any power requirements.

Perhaps there is a power label on the bottom of the case- I will check with the seller again.

I know some think the CDTV is the best looking A500, so hoping someone has bought one from ‘across the pond’ in either direction and has some insight.

Thanks.

I have found the answer via a sale listing.  The CDTV has a switched-mode power supply and so can take 100-240volts a.c.; 50-60 HZ.
