Hi,

I'm in a bit of a pickle - I need to be able to write an ADF image to an Amiga 880K floppy disk, but I only have an unexpanded Amiga 500, with the standard 512K of RAM.

I have the ADF files on my PC and would be able to write then (I guess in parts?) to a 720K PC-format floppy.

But then what do I do?

I have the original WB1.3 and Extras disk, if there's anything I can use on them to cobble together a cut-down boot floppy that will enable me to write ADFs...

But, is it possible on my minimal spec A500?

Cheers,

Mike.

It definitely is possible and dangit, I can't remember what software I used. I used a windows program to send the ADF via serial port, and redirected the serial port to floppy disk. Or perhaps I entered a dozen line program into amiga basic in the process. It's definitely possible and I wish I could be of more assistance. Also remember having to go into wb prefs and jack up the buffer on the serial port.
