Hmmm. I think most of us have done it, don't beat your self up over it. Actually, that ad isn't too misleading actually. It just states what it is.The upgrade part is kind of wierd though.

I ended up buying a cracked plastic screen bezel for an imac about two years ago on ebay for 25 dollars. The ad showed a picture of a tear drop imac with a broken lcd. It was worded to make you think you were bidding on the whole machine with a broken lcd (it's one of those all-in-one macs). At the time I figured, why not bid 25 on it, i'll probably loose but if i win, awsome. And I won, couple of days later it ended up on my doorstep and I opened the box and was like WTF.

And I just ate it, beecause trying to do anything about it would have just landed me a neg on my account and make me look like a loser. It was one of those situations where I as the buyer was being stupid and the seller was being deceptive.

At least you will be getting something of actual ( if small ) value.
