If you want a nice amiga you would keep the stuff you have. If you can't fix the motherboard, look for another one or consider amiga center france for repairs. Your expansion hardware is hard to come by and expensive, keep it. ( you said you got a great deal on it ).

I bought an a3000 motherboard from ebay for $100. It came with the daughterboard. The guy who sold it basically seperated his 3000 into 100 pieces and sold it on ebay individually and he is not the first to do that.

You would do best to keep what you have and either have your stuff repaired or buy a new motherboard.

If you still want to sell, let me know, i'm in the market for a new video card.

Because I'd be willing to give up all my goodies for a stock reliable machine.  Then I can add to it later if I need to.

I hate to say it... A reliable a3000 is almost impossible to come by these days. These machines are old. When i got my 3000 it had serious issues. I love the amigas though and enjoy the challenges keeping them running. I have done many repairs to my 3000 motherboard.

This is good advise. I sent my 060 PPCMKIII to him over
3 years ago and it's still working fine. It cost what
he said it would, and he had it back to me when he said
he would. I'd recommend him to anyone that want's something
fixed right.

I have been hitting these boards for a long time and I'm glad you have posted your experience with this guy. I have seen 1000 posts from all kinds of amiga sites singing praise with this guys work. I have never seen a single post saying this guy didn't come thoug at a fair price in 5 years. This man can fix anything and he is damn cheap. He can fix that a3000 mobo for less than i could buy a picasso IV board on ebay.
