It would be something completely different if H&P themselves were to publically show off OS4 at a gathering or the like. If they had some low quality setups in the GUI visuality department, then and only then hang them by the rope. The guys showing these demos are just people like you and me, with the diifference that they have got their hands on some beta testing software.
Well, that would be correct if it wasn't for the fact that H&P isn't involved in the devlopment of AmigaOS4 at all. AmigaOS4 is developed by Hyperion + certain partners of theirs.
Besides, where did those screenshots come from? I know Gunne has an AmigaOne but does he have a beta version of AmigaOS4 as well?
Anyway, stop complaining about the looks already. No design work has been made yet at all since that is the last thing you apply when developing software. The GUI engine isn't even finished yet. Take Mason's word for it, it will look so much better once it becomes a finished product, ok?
