I have a 17" VX724 1280 x 1028 ViewSonic LCD, which has been slightly faulty since new (they wouldn't let me return it though, pricks). The image looks slightly grainy, I have no idea why, although I've only tried using the VGA port so far, not the DVI port.
Anyway, I have used it with my CD32/SX32 in DoublePal, using a resolution of 640 x 512, and despite all my efforts, the image could not be scaled exactly 2x2, keeping the aspect ratio. For some reason, it always had 1-2cm black bars along the side.
I bought the monitor to use with my PC, but chose this model specifically because it accepts 50Hz and hoped if I ever got a scandoubler that 320x256 Amiga screens could be scaled perfectly to fit.
Hopefully the Indivision can allow the image to fill the screen. I'd have one myself, except I have a HP Lisa. My monitor may be faulty, but many of my mates swear by the quality of them, so I guess I just got unlucky (I've always had terrible luck with PC parts).
If I can find someone in Australia who can repair my other busted A1200 motherboards, which have Commodore Lisa chips, I'll get an Indivision and try it out.
