Bumping this topic. I tried playing video for the first time on my A600GS and am having this issue as well. I get "Unable to open armmpegfile library. Please ensure that AVCodec is installed via the A600GS / A1200NG Advanced Update section" I did click the radio button and installed/updated it in the Advanced Update section and still no dice. My firmware is all up to date. Please HELP!!! On anther note, I tried the system updater inside AmiBench as well and that just crashes out
