Alternate Way to Delete Items from "Games and Applications" ?
« on: August 09, 2024, 02:04:17 PM »
Hi everyone. I am having fun putting the A600GS through its paces. I am seem to have a knack at finding bugs and breaking things  :D I really like the look of "Games and Applications" launcher. I tried installing Pong 4K using the official .iso that comes with it, however the GS doesn't like it at all. It made an icon for it with the generic joystick logo. I tried installing Pong 4K again and it added another generic joystick logo. When I attempt to delete either of these by going to "edit" it just crashes the entire GS and it reboots as soon as I click "edit" I know I should be able to go into the edit menu and uncheck "Protect from Deletion" and then be able to delete it. However, I can't even get the edit menu to come up and I am stuck with those 2 generic joystick icons that are killing the vibe of my "Games and Applications" If anyone knows an alternate way to delete these items it would be greatly appreciated Thank you!

This is why I've got into the habit of constantly backing up before adding anything, just in case I wreck it.  ;D
Yes! I totally agree. I believe these frequent backups are necessary at this point in it's development. Those rubber feet came off and the screws came out on Day #1. None of my Amigas have screws in the cases, neither the real ones or the emulated ones  ;D

@amigakit Thanks for all the help and passing it on to the devs. I have a lot more feedback about things that are not working and general improvements if you want. Let me know if this is the best place or if you prefer another way. I am having a lot of fun with it so far and it does a lot of things well too.

Are the game thumbnail icon images accessible somehow? This way when I wipe my card and start from scratch it will be easier than making the thumbnails again. I suppose the better way would be to do a screen shot, then make the screen shot the thumbnail so you will have the image in the screenshot directory? Those broken Pong icons are killing me, LOL
