I wasn't really around when the Amiga was hot, so I jumped onto the wagon pretty late. Welcome to the club
My friends dad used to have a 1200 though, and I was always amazed by the graphics and sound effects of Walker or the smooth gameplay of Fire & Ice. It was way better than the 486 PC my dad gave me, though I realize now that the 486 was like three times faster. Sure, I could play doom with it, but the amiga games were more colourful and interesting to a kid, I guess.
