Source of custom chips?
« on: August 17, 2004, 12:52:45 AM »
I'm looking for the latest WD SCSI chip for A3000D (-08, I believe) as well as a Buster -11. Are there any US retailers carrying these still? It would also be nice if they're in decent condition (you know, no scuffs/breaks caused by forced removal).

Thanks to everyone for the help. I should have mentioned US retailers *except* for Softhut! Sorry, purely for personal reasons.

Now that I think about it more, I also don't really need to exclude the rest of the world. If there are sources outside the US, that's fine also. :)

@Schoenfeld,

You're correct about the distance. I will not be making the show. USPS works fine. I'll send you a PM.

Yeah, I didn't see an 11 listed there either.

@OL_hd,

Thanks for the tip on Vesalia. I see the correct Buster here (although I wouldn't call it cheap) but the WD SCSI revision is not apparent. I'll send 'em an email.

Let me check my stash of A3000 chips when I get home (assuming I can even remember where I put them!)...I had Busters, SCSI, ZIPs and lots of spares somewhere.
