the usa is the greatest nation on earth.
the freedom you have to spout the nonsense that you are is proof that our freedom is still here and strong.

Have you even been outside of the USA? USA is not the only country with free speech.

you guys really dont know how good we have it, and it is that ungratefullnes that is going to do more harm than what our president does.

Tell that to all the poor and homeless. America is great in some ways especially if you have a good job. But things are not so great for those who were not so fortunate. I do not think that USA is a bad country at all, but i there are other countries i would rather move to.
I think it is pretty arrogant to claim that your country is the best, when it has flaws just like other countries have.
I have a bunch of american news channels, and i can definitely say that the press and tv over here have more freedom when it comes to freedom of speech.

our media rip the president apart, they are allowed to curse and talk about almost any subject. we dont normally show nudety if not blurred. some of that is restricted by popularity more than the government

Lets take the Iraq war for example.. There was a quite a few horrible mistakes with civilians dying down there, but neither cnn, fox news or the general news papers showed much from that dark side.. Instead they mostly showed positive aspect of the war, like the people cheering for the fact that Saddam was brought down. I dont know who to blame, but there are quite a few filtering of the news. And i dont think it is true that allow cursing over there? It seems like all public channels over there are forced to censor word like "damn, {bleep}, hell" and so on. Pay channels i guess is different.. And then you have this thing about nudity... It is ok to show violence and murder, but as soon as something as natural as skin shows, then there is problems..
And i think pretty much all western countries today allow people or comdeians to make fun of or bash the politicians/governmen.
But the news issue was what i really meant anyways.

When it comes to homeless people.. You actually dont see much of them around here, due to that all people here have right for a roof over their house and money for food even if they do not work.

But i am not saying that my country is better than US overall. I am very far from a patriot and think there is loads of things that are not working right in this country and there are many countries that i would rather live in to be honest.

I responded because you sounded like you thought everything was perfect in USA, so i felt like i had to point out the fact that you have a quite few flaws over there as well. And that people should have the right to complain about their own country if there is something they would like to improve.

And why would I want to magnetize all the iron in my blood? Seems the iron would be more likely to clump up and cause a deadly blood clot or some thing. DOH, bet the patent didn't mention that.

Not that such a magnet has the capability of even doing that..  :-)
I have seen no tv about some scientist studying if these magnets do anything at all, and the effect it had on the blood and human body was either non existant or so small that it was not measurable. The only effect you get from this is the placebo effect at best.

How 'bout keeping the politics out of this thread? Granted,
I'm not a moderator, but your posts are way OT. Nothing wrong
with a good debate, but please take it to the appropriate forum.

It is indeed way offtopic, but it was not me who started it and i have laid it to rest now.
