I believe the psp has a faster cpu and also the psp is much easier to code for which means that most homebrew there will be more tuned for perfomance.

But the psp dosent emulate at fullspeed now or does it? The last version i tried was still quite a bit slower than a real a500.

A PSP Faster than a Playstation 2? I HIGHLY doubt that.

The cpu itself is faster, but the graphic chip of the ps2 outperforms the psp, but that makes sense as the screen is also much smaller on the psp. All emulators i have tried on the ps2 runs noticable faster on the psp.

BUT PAY ATENCION, the PSP CPU, for the moment, Sony, does wont CPU to run 333mhz, because, the performance of battery.

But uae and most other emulators runs at 333mhz by default.

at least a 700-800 mhz cpu is needed for a descent amiga emulation

It depends on the type of cpu too. Though i mostly agree about the fact that neither the psp or the ps2 will handle emulating a amiga at 100% speed.
