Like others suggested, it could be a lose chip.. It could also be your memory expansion, so try to remove that as well. I had something similar happen with a amiga i saved from the trash, the battery on the memory expansion had leaked and destroyed the expansion board. If it is a a500+, the battery will be located inside the computer so then it could be alot more damage.

Thanks guys for the help

The expansion card should in most cases work just fine without a battery, since it is only used for keeping the time when the amiga is powered off.
What you can do is check for any leaks and then try to clean it off carefully and removing the leaking battery. If this does not work, then the memory card has most likely been damaged by the acid.
