Oh good times! I remembered the day I picked up my C64c back in 1988. I thought this is it! As I pack-up the C64 after testing, that's when I got my first glimps of the A1000 center row of the store. I was blow away by it's sheer power! Of course, the A1000 was expensive so I have to settle with my C64 for the next 5 years.
