Very nice story from amigakit but picture's tend to be more usefull.

You really don't need a removal tool just patience and common sense. I myself really use a screwdriver with a very small tip, you can buy them at the GAMMA or PRAXIS.

When you want to remove the chip just put it in the end of the chip and it will come loose, then do it on the other side until it is fully lifted out of it's socket.

Nothing fancy about that.
