What constitutes 'owning' a license for Amiga OS?
« on: September 27, 2009, 08:14:25 AM »
A thread on here yesterday sparked a thought for me. It was the guy asking where to get Workbench 3.1.

Anyway, for example, if one owns a kickstart version X ROM does that mean you have a license for the matching version of Amiga OS? Or are the licenses for the kickstart ROM and matching OS separate? (I guess this could apply upto version 3.1 as after that OS 3.5 and 3.9 both then ran on ROM 3.1).

This is just theoretical - I don't need an answer for anything.
