I am currently runing a competition on my company website and earlier in the week, a script kiddy put something in place which was entering the competition about 50 times/minutes. We soon realised and whilst IT investigated and did something, I changed the order of the answers, so at least the script was getting the wrong answer, and we wound't have to look for them when selecting the winner. In total, this script hit our site about 18,000 times.
