I figured 8 people would be enough to just experiment with social groups to see if they really help out or are just a silly toy.
I am always trying to find more productive ways of doing things.
It would be really cool if Amiga.org helped me to organize my team better. Maybe we might actually produce a new Amiga game or something...
Social groups weren't really intended for serious project management. They are, exactly as they say, intended to allow people to socialize, for which the limitations you ran into don't really apply.
I'll see what I can do about the project management stuff at the earliest possible.
