Ok I checked out that topic and to be honest it doesnt really tell me how use a atx in my powertower, I thought about buying a ready made atx2at adaptor from eyetech and thought £20.00 thats not to bad until, i went to the checkout £19.95 for the adaptor,£5.00 p+p and £17 for a small order charge.
So I opened my powertower and found the power lead which connects str8 into the atx power supply and has a p9 and p8 connection at the end and most of the colours match at both connections (My power tower lead looks just like this

I was either brave or stupid but I tryed the atx power supply in my amiga and it booted up fine and switched on and off with the power switch on the tower and the psu. So i didnt want to keep it in until I made sure it was ok too
