Stupid Amiga Guy
« on: February 16, 2016, 12:21:43 AM »
Hi All, first I would just like send out big THANK YOU! to all who have commented on my many Posts (questions) I swear I am just all over the place and then I see some of these things going on and I am not even paying attention and I apologize for that.  I am honestly thinking of starting a pod cast called "Stupid Amiga Guy" in which I record my lastest dumb question and then entertain answers which would be the theme of the next cast.  I got side tracked because the power supply for my CD32 which I ordered from the UK arrived and so I got on to that.  Tried to get it sorted out and did get it running decently though the S Video doesn't display in color.  I am using the RCA connectins which are fine really, connected to a SCART connector.  My setup is connected to a Phillips FlatTV which I bought in Germany 10 years ago. Is that the issue PAL won't display S Video in Color?  Anyway this is the Software section and my question really is about software. I have seen on You Tube an A1200 running with a really nice Modern Workbench Calendar.  Been searching Aminet but can not seem to come up with it. Does anyone know what and where this program is and resides?  Thanks in advance, back with more stupid questions any second now...

Hey, it's great that everyone except Mike responded to the Hardware gremudgen.  But this was really a question about the software Calendar.  When I lived in Switzerland I had a very sophisticated TV that was both PAL/NTSC, my CD32 there played through S-Video no problem.
That was back when S-Video was the best that could be displayed.  Just to know that there
is not anything wrong with the CD32 is good to know.  Now does anyone know this Calendar I am talking about?
Thanks in advance ;0)

Mike, the thing is I look at lots of Amiga Videos on You Tube almost everyday.  Some I look at  over again to get all the information I can.  Some for just a minute of two. But I look at video's of every model and every configuration and all the software iterations.  I know I just saw this one again and I believe it was on OS 3.9 but not positive cause it was just in the background of some video. It was floating over the desktop and very colorful.  I will go back and try and find it again and if I do see it I will post a link.
Cheers

Hi All, Okay since we are talking a lot about C32 here, a new question.  Where can I look or how can I tell if my CD32 is PAL or NTSC?
Thanks
