The Problem I have now, Monitor issue
« on: October 22, 2015, 02:01:29 AM »
Hi All,  I have now moved my A1200 to a BENQ FP937s Monitor. First I was using my older 1950, which was quite good. Ran almost every Monitor preset without issue. But the space I have and my desire to run both my A1200 and a Mac Mini running MorphOS caused me to put it away and switch to an LG TV which I bought in Germany.  Running the A1200 with a SCART connector. I would be able to then run the Mac Mini using the RS232 connector and an adapter for the mac. Since the Benq will run the Mac Mini in dvi mode I decided to see if I could get the A1200 to run on it.  I was succeful but only running about 29 Htz, so I am restricted as to what monitor presets I can use. No matter what I can not run any interlaced modes on the Benq.  So the problem is how do I get productive programs and most images to open on my current public screen.  If that is what the workbench screen is.  I was always a little fuzzy about that.  Some programs DPaint and Art Effect do it automatically. Some don't. And most Amiga images were created in interlaced mode. I guess that makes sense since TV video always used interlacing for graphics.  Anyway,a bit long winded but would appreciate your consideralbe advice.  Thanks
Brad
