I have probably the fastest CSPPC board over the world. (604/400MHz with 060/66MHz). Believe me it's really fast. Enough fast for use every day :)

For example, CPU 68k&PPC speed test by SysSpeed:

For 68060/66MHz:
 MIPS - 86.53
 MFLOPS - 32.62

For PPC 604e/400MHz:
 MIPS - 581.89
 MFLOPS - 400.01

UW-SCSI SCA 36GB with SFS:
 CreateFile 22.59 MB/s
 WriteFile 28.45 MB/s
 ReadFile 24.98 MB/s
 RawRead 28.74 MB/s

Looks very nice isn't it?
So I think the new OS4.1 for my classic Amiga will run on it smooth enough :)

you may hold the record for raw PPC processor power on classic amiga but Blizzard PPC holds the record for GFX performance.

Having bought Classic OS4.0 when it first came out for use with my Blizzard060/PPC 60Mhz/240Mhz and being sorely disappointed with the speed at which it ran, I can only hope the OS4.1 has had some major speed improvements made to it to make it useable.

I not getting my hopes built up though as I very rarely use 4.0 due to the speed issues and also the fact that the one and only update for 4.0 was way back in June 07, when purchasers of Classic OS4.0 were left in the lurch when support for it seemed to be abandoned.

So I will warily keep my eye on it this time to see what others think of it first... ;)

tested a 270Mhz Blizzard PPC the performance was also very poor i could not play quake 2 (OS4.0) 800x600 screenmode,i had to switch to my top end card to make this game playerble again 800x600 screenmode.

you may possibly hold the record for CPU power on classic PPC but my Blizzard PPC holds the world record for GFX perfomance when comparing Bvision vs Cybervision.

im not even going to bother uploading test results as i already know you don`t stand a chance.
