Hey all, me again. Since this is only slightly related to my other topic regarding Shogo, I made it into a new post. Can someone tell me if the (cropped) screenshot below is correct?

Im running Heretic II there, in 1024x768, with Warp3D (4.2) renderer, full details. I have the feeling Im not supposed to see pixels that big. Or perhaps Im spoiled by my consoles and pc? In QuakeWOS for example, everything is blurred and generally looks a lot better. Would be great if someone can confirm this.

Also when I look at this recording: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AiWSpD7COCc it looks so much better.. especially the explosions. (Im getting much better framerate though) What am I doing wrong! :|

Again, I know this game is 20 years old by now. Thats not what I want to hear :)

are you playing that game with that screen mode on a Blizzard card?

heh. you, of all people here, should know better :) this game is ofcourse not playable in that resolution. In 640x480 its good enough, in 800x600 just about bearable. Have to admit though, my ppc board is really performing well, Im getting better speeds than the results posted on amigaspeed.de.vu.

you are correct, this game is more than playable with 83Mhz bus with 800x600 screen mode. i never tested any game with 1024x768 but now that you have posted that screen mode i will check as soon as i fix ( if possible ) the last remaining problem on my Blizzard PPC card. first Blizzard PPC card to have 86Mhz bus.

the above card depends on the result and final test on a third Blizzard card clocked by a single 75Mhz oscilator, first for a Blizzard at this speed.

MC68060RC60 look like it may end up being clocked @83Mhz not sure yet.
