Clock Port
« on: August 11, 2014, 08:11:18 PM »
Hi all, I use an Amiga 1200.
What can be fitted to the clock port that will make the Amiga more usable?

So far I have an Apollo Accelerator Mk3 030/40 with 40Mhz FPU with 32meg of fast ram, USB mouse adaptor.
IDE'99 80Gig Harddrive, DVD dual layer burner. 100MB Zipdrive.
19" ALBA LCD TV via RGB.
OS3.9, BB1
Deskjet 810C.
I do know the clock port can be sued but is it worth while?

TIA,

Mike.

Yes I have tried to get onto the Internet but with no luck.
We have SKY here and I have an PCMCIA 3Com 3C589D-TP Etherlink III.
I have tried all ways but still no luck.
And yet a few years ago I was on the Internet with a PlusCom WR-AR2317 router.

But the Virgin bill's starting to get very high, so we went over to Sky.
Since Sky no Amiga Internet.

@Ryu
No I didnt go, my wife is disabled and I am her 24/7 carer so its hard for me to get out these days.
But I still have the Pluscom router i could fit that to the SKY modem/router and see what happens. But having said that, the PSU is some where abouts its a case of ofinding it.

I shall give it a go and see what happens and get back to you all.

Thanks for the advice I have been given on this.

A Subway is the way to go as far as USB connectors goes, but that again it would be nice for a seperate sound card.
