Self booting Amikit
« on: September 08, 2009, 05:33:48 PM »
Hmmmm ok sorry if this has been done before.............

I just been looking at IcAros and done the download and all that................

There is of course other emulators around but the point is this:-

Is it possible for Amikit to boot right into a X86 system?
I know very well right now it isnt of course but.............

Has any one thought of a universal loader that can load in emulators to a X86 system, without Win XP/2000 ?

Its just a thought, probable a bad/hard one but still all the same an idea................

As for the universal loader I would think it is possible with the right stuff inside it.

For now for me I have a spare 12gig HD I shall use using WIn2000 without all the extras and just Amikit for now .....

Any feedback?

TIA,

Mike.

Yes I did think of this:-

Video
Audio
USB
CPU
Memory
Internet

not to mention other stuff that would be needed.

Ohhh well it was just an idea............I shall use WIn2000 with at least software as possible, idea being not to use Win2000 itself as an OS but rather Amikit instead.

How ever the idea must have been in a few heads before now I would think.
