Lucky or what
« on: September 11, 2008, 01:54:53 PM »
My son works for a building company that renovates the interior of houses.
is boss told him to throw this monitor in the skip, well knowing I haver a lot to do with Commodore gear he gave it to my instead.

Its a Commodore 1701 monitor in very good condition.
I plugged it in and away you go it works perfectly.

Gave it a bit of a clean.
Now I am the proud owner of a 1701.

I did actually think of S-Video.

I use my Playstation 2 on Video, I was thinking how good it might be using S-Video compared to normal Video.

Having said that I am waiting for another PS2 video lead that had the scart plug on the end so I can use RGB.

But all the same it will be interesting to see how S-Video will look on the 1701.

BTW what is the dif between a 1701 and a 1702?

I know the 1701 is mono sound, is the 1702 stereo?
