Possible causes
1:- bad disk
2:- dirty floppy drive head
3:- Faulty driver in another area.
Try another disc that you know for certain that is good, try others to.
Try a head cleaner if you have one, assuming that will work in the Amiga`s present condition.
Do you have another spare floppy drive external? if so try that.
