Pure speculation here, but two problems I would imagine in getting the PPC CPU to work would be address conflicts between the PPC and the Amiga custom chips and code level incompatabilities with WarpOS. This board uses a 601 series processor, and to my knowlege no Amiga accellerator ever used a 601, thus there might not even be support for it in WarpOS.

That said, if there are no address conflicts with the PPC, you might very well get the board to work, allowing use of the 040, since it is designed to go in 040 based Macs. I wouldn't hold my breath on the PPC tho.

A4000D, A3640 OC-36.3MHz, custom tower, Mediator A4000D. Diamond Banshee 16M, Indivision AGA 4000, GVP HC+8.

Mac Mini 1.5GHz, that might run MorphOS someday, when the fools who own it come to the realization that 30 minutes just isn\'t enough time to play with it enough to decide whether or not you like it enough to cough up $200.

 - Someone please design SOME kind of DIY accelerator for the A4000. :D -
