I reckon something like TerribleFire will be rerouted for A2000 even if  current version doesn't fit. Maybe $75-90 US complete. Static Fast Ram.  Burst mode. MMU maybe. FPU is pretty weak in comparison to 68040 or 060.  It would be worth swapping some of your 16 bit fast RAM for the  TerribleFire equivalent. In theory TF can work out much cheaper if you  can get the chips from discarded or recycled old IT equipment.

Oldest A2000s don't have "proper" CPU expansion slots anyway, you pretty much  have to take the 68000 out and do it that way. Also sometimes slot is  zorched but processor socket OK.
